The intense taste and crumbly texture make it perfect to eat it as is, or can be served with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, crusty bread and a robust red wine (Rioja) or a dry sherry (Fino). It is equally enjoyable as a snack or dessert with fruit or fruit tarts. Le Manchego est produit dans la région de La Mancha en Espagne. Ce fromage Manchego a vieilli 6 mois et a une saveur de caramel et de noisette. Il a une acidité distincte. Son goût intense et sa texture friable le rendent parfait pour le manger tel quel, ou peut être servi avec des olives, des tomates séchées au soleil, du pain croustillant et un vin rouge robuste (Rioja) ou un sherry sec (Fino).
